Vacuum Tube / MOSFET Stereo Power Amplifier.The Model H is a Hybrid circuit using three vacuum tube stages to drive a MOSFET output pair. This design provides the perceived advantages of a vacuum tube OTL amplifier without the disadvantages of a vacuum tube output stage.The driver stages are of a conventional configuration. The 6DT8 is a two stage voltage amplifier. The 6888 pentode, connected as a triode cathode follower, provides a low impedance drive for the MOSFET output stage.The output stage features two regulated power supplies to provide the +/- 48 volts for the push-pull MOSFETS.See the photos for more detailed information.
