Up for your consideration is a lovely deep red (pink) and white rectangular lidded butter tray in the popular Villeroy & Boch transferware pattern VALERIA . It is made out of what is known as âÂeÂ~vitro-porcelainâÂeÂ(tm) and was produced in Mettlach, Germany . The bottom measures 7 3/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches and has a lip. The lid or bonnet fits over the lip. When in place, the set measures 3 1/2 inches tall. This is beautiful piece carries the red mercury (angel) post-1957 mark as shown. and is in absolutely mint condition showing no wear whatsoever. Please be assured that I will pack this piece well in tissue paper and bubble wrap to make sure that it arrives in your home in the same condition as it was sent out. I have lived in Germany and been scouring the flea markets for well over 30 years. I have been mailing packages internationally for longer than that.
