This listing is for the Van Briggle Pair of Small Bulbus Vases in Turquoise & Blue. One vase (lighter blue) stands approx. 4 1/4 inches tall and measures approx. 2 inches across the opening. Crazing is seen all over on this piece, it has had some gentle use. I detected no chipping or deep cracks to the ceramic part of this vase. The glaze on this piece is Turquoise and Blue and the glaze is smooth to the touch. The decoration is all embossed. It is signed on the bottom. The other vase (darker blue green glaze color) stands approx. 4 1/2 inches tall and measures approx. 2 1/8 inches across the opening. This piece has a couple of long glaze craze cracks on the neck area. There are also to 2 small places seen inside this vase across from each other where some type of dipping tongs were used. This vase's glaze has a grainy feel to it in some areas. I detected no chipping or deep cracks to ceramic part of this vase. The decoration on this piece does have some hand incised places seen to the neck along with mold embossing on the vase base. This vase appears older than the other and is slightly larger.
