This piece of art depicts a wonderful scene with gorgeous coloration and lively detail, A sailing boat on a rough sea somewhere on the Belgium cost. It's painted very thick, typical for the artist. A fabulous and very decorative beautifully painting. All colors in this piece of art are subjective and may vary on your monitor. It’s painted in the forties by the listed artist Paul Van de Venne ( 1870-1954). It is artist signed in the lower left hand corner. The painting is in a good condition.There's no loss of paint. The painting has some minor fine craquelures due the age. It comes in a original wooden frame which is also in a good condition with minor losses of paint.
