I will be away and unavailable to ship purchases until October 9th. Here is adetailed cameo carved Carnelian shell pair of screw back earrings. The soft glowingamber/peach shells are bezel set in ornate 12k gold filled frames for a very secure hold. The creamy white & ivory contrasts beautifully against the carnelian. You will notice there are slight differences between the two cameos as they are handmade. Marked -Van Dell 1/20 12 K G.F The ridges in screw threading are clearly visible without usage wear, and they glide back & forth when turned. Approximate measurements - ¾ inch wide, ¾ inch long. In original, Beautiful Condition, these classic, romantically serene looking beauties are a fine addition to your Cameo Jewelry Collection. Made in America. My mother-in-law gave me this pair of earrings along with a similar 10 kt gold brooch/pendant roughly 8 years ago, they belonged to her mother. Seems such a shame for these pieces to be tucked away and never seeing the light of day. The thought of bringing joy to a new admirer helps easy my conscience in selling a family gift.
