This listing is for one hand-crafted Van Hygan & Smythe oval wood plate frame. This frame is a warm honey oak tone in color. The approximate outside diameter is 11 1/4-inches x 9-inches, and the plate size to be accomodated is approximately 8 1/2-inches x 6 1/2-inches. This frame has a triangular metal hook for hanging which holds the plate and frame smoothly against the wall as well as three steel spring clips tipped in non-scratch plastic to swivel around and hold your plate securely in place. The back of the frame is cut-out allowing easy viewing of the backstamp on the plate. This frame is in used condition, thus it is not perfect. It has been gently used with any imperfections being minor.
