Listed for your consideration is a scarce, VAN RYPER S.S. TELA wooden model ship, mounted on it's original wooden display base - circa 1939. Missing one small piece of forward super structure. Made in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts - approx. 1939. Extremely scarce with base Condition: Excellent Scale is 1:500 Length: 8 1/2" (bow to stern @ deck level) Width: 1 1/4" Height: 2" (waterline to top of funnel) Wood Base : Length: 1' Width: 3 1/2" Height: 5 3/8" S.S.
