THE VELVET UNDERGROUND - The Velvet Underground Original USA Promo LP MGM (GAS 131 ) Very rare original MGM promo album on the yellow promo label with black print. States on the label "Special Disc Jockey Record ." A previous owner has put a felt pen mark through the "Not For Sale" part on both sides. No writing, stickers or stamps on the labels, just the line through "Not For Sale." A very short lived compilation album from 1970. Please note that the sleeve on this copy is only in good condition so it's pretty beat up. There is no DJ Sticker on it and a standard copy of this album can be picked up cheaply, so a sleeve swap should be easy. The sleeve is in g condition with plenty of corner/edge wear, short bottom and spine splits, ringwear/rubbing. The record is in a strong vg condition with the odd scuff/line, nothing i could feel. Please note that i grade all records the same way, whether they're 40 years old or one year old.
