Very Early Western Apache Indian Basket, made with Willow and Devils claw, this basket dates to about 1890-1920. T is a very heavy patina of age, and as you can see a small hole within the base of the basket that was probably puched out around the turn of the century so it could be hung on a wall or placed on the ceiling. What an idea! But thats what was done to these Masterpieces at the turn of the century quite commonly. T are scattered stich losses and except for the errouneous hole in the bottom, no other breaks or seperations. This basket is still solid for its age Dimensions: 10 inches Diameter x 2.5 inches Depth Any questions please email.
