I know quite a bit about briars, but I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to meerschaums. However, I've certainly seen a lot of them and this is one of the most beautifully colored meers that I've laid eyes on. It comes in a ratty case which, nevertheless still serves a useful protective function. The pipe itself is set off in tooled silver at the rim and end of the shank. The tenon is wood and the stem is real amber. T are a couple of dings on the lower right side of the bowl which are visible in the photos, but they really don't detract from this gorgeous piece. The photos fairly and accurately portray the condition of this pipe. This pipe has been cleaned and sanitized and is ready to smoke. Length = 5 1/2 inches. Height = 2 Chamber = 3/4 Bowl Diameter = 1 5/16 Chamber Depth = 1 3/4 Weight - 1.25 Ounces (Based on my postal scale rounded to the nearest quarter ounce).
