Up for auction: Is this Unique Custom made hunting knife. Looks like an old Scagel. It is 5-5/8" closed, and the handles rotate around the blade to securely house the blade in the closed position. I think that Custom knife maker Barry Wood and Colt have a similar design with the swivel action. This one looks much, much earlier. Iron bolsters with either Elk or Moose handles. Could possibly be some sort of Ivory? They have the initials NG pressed into the handles. I can find no other markings on this well made sturdy knife. I bet this has skinned a buffalo or two in its time. I have included 9 pictures to try and show how this knife works. Great Old Hunter!
