VERY PRETTY GILDED CAST METAL VANITY CLOCK ~ ANSONIA I have a very large selection of gorgeous antiques and collectibles listed this week, please be sure to check my other auctions I am sure you will not be disappointed. This clock is marked The Ansonia Clock Co., New York, United States of America, with trade mark symbol. The clock is a cast metal with gilt paint, and the glass is beveled. The clock measures close to 7" high x 4-1/4" across widest portion and is in great condition, the face measures approx. 2" in dia.. The design is all swirls and floral with open work, truly an Art Nouveau style, and period as I would date it to around 1900. This piece is in good condition but t is no way to wind it as knobs are missing, so we can't guarantee the working condition. We have other great clocks on this site this week, so please check them out. I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !! Don't miss out...bid now !!
