11 (28 cm.) All latex composition portrait doll depicting a young Asian child, socket head, painted brown eyes, dark painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accented lips, dark brunette bobbed hair, five piece body, wearing original organdy cream dress with hand-tatting at neckline and sleeves. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: DC P41 (head) DC (logo on torso). Comments: Dewees Cochran, circa 1941. Value Points: very rare portrait doll, the only example of this doll known to exist by Cochran, is further enhanced by artful sculpting and painting, fine state of preservation.
