Very rare Prentiss Clock Improvement Company Calendar Clock. This is the Empire model. These are very rare, and only one or two come on the market each year, if any at all. This one is in a beautiful Oak case, and is in excellent condition overall. The whole front of the clock comes off, and attaches by a hook at the top iof the case. The brass bezel opens to adjust the hands. These clocks came with 8-day, 30-day, 60-day and 90-day movements. This one has the massive 60 day movement. It is double spring, time only. Movment runs fine. The dial is original paper over metal, and is in almost pristine condition. The lower movement is in good condition. I advanced it two months, and the day of the week and month changed perfectly. the date worked with a nudge or two, and I'm sure with a minor adjustment or two will give very reliable service. Last few years the ones that have come up for auction have exceeded $5000, including the buyer's premium. This one is far nicer than ay I have seen for sale in a decade, and I am pricing it very competitively. If I still have it in June, I will be bringing it to the National, so you can see it t
