This bowl has an organic design, and t is quite a bit of wear to the foot as shown in the photos.Andre Thuret (1898 - 1965) was a French glass artist who worked in the glass industry before moving on to the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers in Paris. T he experimented in every aspect of glass technology. He is best known for his bubbled and particoloured glass vases.The glass works of Andre Thuret are very rare and sought after by collectors worldwide. He is known for his avant-garde abstract internal decoration and this is a fine example of his art glass.
