Very Rare Original Judy Garland Photograph Up for auction is a Very Rare Original Judy Garland Photograph. This is not a cheap copy on thin photographic paper. This is an original professional photographer's print, printed on professional heavyweight semi-gloss finished photographic paper. The photographer was Burr Jerger. He lived and worked in Belgium from 1966 till 1972. He came to Europe in 1961 as a free-lance-reporter for 'Show Business Illustrated', 'Ebony' and 'Globe Photos'. He worked as a filmassistant for the French movies 'Madame Sans-Gene' (1961) by Christian Jaque, and 'Cartouche' (1962) directed by Philippe De Broca. He wrote the novels 'The saga of april 6th' and General Massacre'. He wrote also the storybook 'Four letter word'. In 1973 he left Belgium , and went back to Paris , and later to the United States , and worked again as a free-lance-reporter. This Photograph is from the early 1960's. In my two photographs, one is a scan of an original news magazine picture and caption about the picture from one of my Judy Garland scrap books from the 1960's. The other is a photograph of the original photograph for sale. The photograph has some wear along the edges and some small tears at the top and bottom that are not detramental.
