JULY-AUGUST 1951 Grading Estimate: VF+ NOT Restored Some spine roll/wear - issue is holding together and is fairly flat but t are several cracks/tears at the spine Some edge wear (several small chips and several creases) Cover is still fairly bright with a fantastic collection of yellows and reds! Inner pages are off-white to tan and some of the pages have a slightly darker color along the very edge of the pages (the back cover also has this) I have found no tape or writing on this issue Please remember that grading is very subjective. The gentleman/collector who looks over my comics is fairly critical and if you look at my feedback, you'll see that in many cases buyers use the words "BETTER than expected". I would way rather have you feel that way than be disappointed so I try my best to describe the books in as much detail as I possibly can. Use my estimated grade as a guide and make your own decision as to the relative value/grade of the issue. THANKS! Each of my comics is shipped in its own polypropylene bag with an acid free backing board. For extra protection, the issues are then protected with heavy guage backing boards and shipped in boxes that are designed exclusively for safe shipping of collectible comic books. read more
