Rare and Complete Leonard Bailey "VICTOR" # 20 Circular Plane Leonard Bailey had a history of plane making that covered many years. After selling his patents to Stanley in the 1860's he started another company making "Victor" planes. They were only made for a few years and Stanley bought him out for the second time. This is one his Victor circular planes, the number 20. This was the only model Stanley brought over to it's line and they were changed to eliminate the often missing handles or medallions. This one has the handles or medallions but the rear one looks to have been tightened on too long a screw at the factory and was sold anyway. These early Victor planes are not common and this one, although not perfect, is a very nice example without the usual damage or missing parts and is complete in good working order. .
