Wonderful oil pastel from the estate of Victor De Gesu. Has notation on the reverse that it is a portrait of his friend the famous author JOHN STEINBECK. Done in shades of blue, black & brown with a complementary frame in the same blue. Abstract representation of the writer. Perfect a Mid-Century interior or for Steinbeck fans.
