Victorian 18ct gold five diamond ring . Here we are very proud to offer this absolutely fabulous diamond period ring.It is made for solid 18ct gold and set with five truly great diamonds, Four antique cut and one more modern replacement oval cut stone.,This truly beautiful most likely dating to the later Victorian period, a can not be certain of the exact date due the being lost probably when it a was resized at some point.It is however fully tested and guaranteed 18ct solid gold.The diamonds are fabulous quality and measure:center :4.5 x 3.6 x 2.7 = .31ctnext pair: 3.6 x 3.6 x 2.7 = .27 & 3.5*3.5 * 2.7 = .26 Outer pair: 3 x 2.2= .13 & 2.8 x 1.5= .07Together these great quality diamonds and they total approximately 1ct. All but the center diamond are an antique old cut, old mine cut( a for runner to the modern brilliant). The center diamond has been sympathetically replaced at some point with a very good quality oval cut diamond. Altogether all these diamonds create a truly fantastic display of brilliance, sparkle and the twinkle you only find in these type of great quality antique stones.The setting measures 16.5mm x 5mm and has a lovely scroll detail typical of the period.It is currently a UK ring size P.
