Album of Victorian photographic cards Case is in very good condition, leather-bound with brass or gilt trimmings and perfectly-working clasp. The album is not full - 19 cards present, room for 7 more. Cards comprise: the Queen, Prince Albert, both together, Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince and Princess of Prussia, Prince of Hess, Princesses Alice, Louisa, Helena and Beatrice, Prince Alfred (2), 3 unknown, plus Dickens and the Pope for good measure! Pages are very thick card - 2mm - with an ingenious system for sliding cards in. Cards are actually CdV's, Italian, Belgian, German and at least one by Edwin Mayall of London. Postage is for mainland UK only - contact me before bidding for overseas shipping cost.
