This is a beautiful vanity. I have personally owned it for 5 years. I found it covered by a drop cloth in my grandmothers garage after she passed away. It was a bit dirty, but when cleaned up, this is what it looked like. I have no idea if it was ever re-finished. I have not done anything but dust it. T is remnants of a paper tag on the back of the mirror, the only words left are Unity Furniture. I never had the time to have it looked at, so I don't know how old it is. The best I can tell by seeing other pieces similar to this style is between 1800-1900. That is quite a span. The detail in the carving is fabulous, t's very little scuffing. Some stain deterioration on the top. Finances have forced us to look into a smaller house, t's no room for extra. The vanity measures 50" long, 19" wide, desk part is 30" high and mirror is 37" high. I can't even imagine trying to figure out how to ship this safely. I would prefer it picked up, if it needs to be shipped, the buyer will have to make all arangements with a company to pack it and remove it. I'm happy to send any additional pics or answer any questions about the vanity. Thankyou!
