Offered for auction is an antique Victorian Beveled Glass Jewelry Casket/Trinket Box. The entire piece measures 2 ¾" high x 3" square. The glass panels on this piece are thick. Every glass panel is etched on the inside; the 4 oval side panels (1 ½" x 2 ¼" each) have leaves and the top glass piece (2 ¼" square) has a bird and leaves. The glass panels have some minor edge chips. T were 4 metal feet, one foot has broken off (see photo). It still stands OK; something could be put under the broken foot. I used it in my powder room for decoration and it was fine. It originally belonged to my grandmother. Email if you need more photos or have questions.
