A wonderful old Victorian era ringwith the most magical blue sapphire I have ever seen. Circa 1890, this ring is made of a rose gold shank with a white gold floral gallery. Center stone is a cabochon blue sapphire with a round ball-like appearance. The depths of the blue color are mesmerizing. The sapphire is flanked by two very old bezel set diamonds. They are set in rose gold which peeks up through the white gold gallery. We've never seen anything like it. Ring measures 1/2" east-west; 5/16" north-south. The rise up from finger is 1/4". Made of tested 14K gold weighing 2.4 grams. Ring size 3 1/2 Amazing old ring that you'll enjoy staring into for years to come..Sizeable by your jeweler.
