A beautiful fine original Glass Hatpin, circa 1910. This lovely piece is made from one piece of pressed black jet-glass moulded form an ornate 3-dimensional shape. The center has a raised faceted shape. The edge is very decorative and is lustred in gold and green with red facetted 'jewels'. The hatpin is pressed on the underside with a fitting to accept the steel pin. It is in good condition with a few factory nicks around the edge (under lustre). The top is just under 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) across and the piece has a total length of 7 3/4 inches (20cm). The original steel pin is in great conditon. It would have been worn by a fashionable lady of the period. Super addition to a hatpin collection. See all pictures below. Please email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
