A Victorian Carved Walnut Mirror Fronted Single Wardrobe A Victorian Carved Walnut Mirror Fronted Single Wardrobe A Victorian carved and panelled walnut mirror fronted single wardrobe. The wardrobe is formed with a large central single door set with full length bevelled edge oval dressing mirror. Either side of the mirror there is a large walnut panel with carving above it. The carving is of foliage and flowers. There is also a section of carving around the mirror in each corner. The base section of the wardrobe is formed with a large single storage drawer. The wardrobe is raised on square supports. The top pediment to the wardrobe is formed with carved and pierced decorations. To the inside of the wardrobe it is set with two cloths rails and various hooks. The interior of the wardrobe is panelled in oak. The wardrobe dates to around 1880. It splits into sections for ease of moving. It is part of a suite with matching dressing table. Size Height 88“ Width 49.5” Depth 20” Condition The condition is excellent with light marks and scratches commensurate to age, missing one handle on the base drawer section.
