A case of 8 Victorian taxidermy birds arranged in a naturalistic setting, with dried grasses, ferns, leaves and flowers. The case is black painted wood, frame edges are covered in paper, some of this is peeling (see photo). There are 8 mounted birds, the largest being a pheasant. There are birds of prey and other birds (one Yellowhammer? One Dove?). There is no name plate on the case. This is a large and impressive case of birds. This item is for collection only. Measurements: 85cm wide x 53cm high x 23cm deep (34" wide x 21" high x 9" deep) Thanks for looking!
