ANTIQUE COPPER & BRASS "BOMBE" SHAPE ICE CREAM MOULD C1880 FREE UK POST A nice quality, Victorian copper & brass "Bombe" shaped ice cream mould, the base & lid both stamped "5" The lid seems to be stuck fast, but I haven't tried too hard to remove it. The brass base section unscrews. The purpose of this is to release the vacuum to enable easier removal of the ice cream. ...................................... Measures approx. 11.4 cm (4 1/2" ) high (not including the ring). .................................... Condition Overall good un-cleaned antique condition, with some surface marks and dings, commensurate with age and use. The top lid seems to be stuck fast, but the brass foot unscrews as it should.
