For Auction this super Antique Early - Mid - Victorian Solid Mahogany Display Case c 1850 -1890 . This case was used to display Military Medals and Badges , although I would guess it would also suit jewellery , brooches , pins and necklace chains. The two display boards were originally fixed , these have been replaced with two removable burgundy velvet covered polystyrene tiles , they are very effective although it would be relatively easy to replace them with fibre-board backs if desired.
