This breathtakingly lovely Sideboard was made in England circa 1890 . We purchased it in Bristol, England. The Sideboard is made of Flame Mahogany. It has a rich, Medium Mahogany Patina. This is a English Victorian Sideboard. It is in very good condition. The piece has a high, carved Gallery along the back. It scallops at each corner. T is a beautiful Egyptian Key Pattern carved across the top. This pattern is repeated along the Frieze at the front of the Sideboard. The base of the Sideboard consists of Three Central Drawers with Doors flanking it. The Sideboard has an unusual shape.The Central Drawers are pronounced and the sides of the Sideboard angle back from the center in a canted position. The Drawers and Doors have an incredible display of Flame Mahogany across them. The Central Panels of the Doors have a Fine, Carved Trim faming them with a Pattern of Cross Cut Mahogany flowing around the outside.
