VICTORIAN SEASHELL SOUVENIR ~ BISQUE BOY in SHELL A wonderful Victorian Seashell Souvenir from a coastal amusement park town somew in Florida perhaps, however I cannot make out the name as it is written in fancy script and is quite worn. A bisque boy child figurine sits in the center of a seashell wonderland holding a wicker look, yellow basket, used for collecting shells no doubt. He wears a lavender brimmed sailor hat and the hint of a lavender shoe is showing from beneath the shells. The total measurements are 6" wide at the widest point and 5~ 1/2 " in height. It has a metal easel type stand, the tab of which is inserted into a small slot just above the head of the boy. For details regarding condition, see below. SELECT A SAMPLE IMAGE TO ENLARGE. CONDITION T are several old chips along the edge of the large shell as well as to the two bottom corners and bottom center. It is difficult to know if these happened before or after the piece was constructed as they are very old. T is a small surface crack which does not go through w the slot was created for the metal tab of the stand. T are a couple of factory imperfections as well. A chip to the brim of the boy's bisque hat, which was painted over with the lavender coloring and an overflow blob of material to the tip of his nose. These both happened at time of production and so would read more
