Rare and Highly Collectable. It stands on 3 little legs and is completely encrusted with fragile flowers - they look like tiny shells stuck together to form flower buds and vines. Dated 1880. Majolica style. Mainly White with the occasional pink inside of a flower. Quite delicate. There are no makers mark but there is a good blue diamond with a cherry on top, clearly marked on the base (see photo) IV in the cherry on top - indicates that this item is Clay ware of British design. Underneath in the diamond is the number 19 - Day of the month Rd underneath that - Registered design number To the left hand side the number 15 - bundle number to the right hand side the letter J - Year (1880) M underneath - Month (June) In Excellent pre-loved condition. This is a very old item (over 134 years old) and as such has had a couple of minor knocks. It feels like coral shell and is very very fragile. It is still in very good condition and displays lovely. Almost all of the flowers are intact as is the vase - the only damage is to one of the branches on the outside of the vase.
