Victorian Galalith Cameo Large Pierced Dangle Earrings Circa: late 1800's Beautiful and well made antique Victorian pierced earrings. They measure 1 3/4" length by 1" width. The antique frames are ornate gold gilt over brass, in oval dimensional bezels surrounding the pink and white galalith cameos. The wires that suspend the earrings are quite thick, measure 1.1 mm, an indication of the age of these antique earrings. The cameos are carved, both profiles of a young woman with flowing hair and intricate adornment around her bodice. These carvings measure 1" x 3/4" by 12 mm thick. These earrings are a very nice example of Victorian galalith used in high end costume jewelry. Definitely one of a kind items, in very good condition antique condition, sure to please the Victorian collector yet wonderful enough and sturdy enough for long lasting wear.
