This is a stunning Georgian seed pearl bracelet. The seed pearls are strung onto the mother of pearl backing with white horse hair. This type of jewelry was very popular as wedding jewelry in the 1820's. From the pictures you can see that this bracelet needs some tender loving care. The bracelet measures 7 inches in length including the gold plated clasp when it is closed, which works great by the way. The center medallion is roughly one inch in diameter.
