DESCRIPTION: Mid 19 th century Victoriandeep orange coral and 10K gold carved link graduated necklace. The links are almost shaped like a twisted figure eight. The Victorians loved the idea of infinity and this maybe a representation of that motif. It was also common for the Victorians to wear coral for good health and protection. The coral is truly rich deep red orange. It has its original barrel clasp. METAL: Unmarked but tests at least 10K GEMSTONE(s): Antique untreated deep orange coral; slight variations in color from link to link DIMENSIONS: Total length 20.5”; Largest coral link is 10.5MM, Smallest is 7.5MM x 3.5MM WEIGHT: 10.6 G PERIOD: Mid 19 th century CONDITION: Very good condition. Some beads have the typical natural flaws and color variations. Beads have the occasional sign of age. No other unexpected wear or flaws to note. Payment is expected within five days.
