Victorian Hand Made Micro Bead Work Portrait Fancy Period Hardwood Frame The Victorian hand made microbead / beaded cat sitting on a cushion portrait under glass with period wooden frame that you are bidding on is in good condition; there is a section that is damaged (beads and string are missing) near the cat's neck, but there are no major scratches no chips or cracks, and no signs of repair. The piece depicts a grey cat with black stripes and white on its belly laying on a red cushion against a blue background; the frame around the picture is gold leaf on wood and is surrounded by a wooden floral and foliate outer frame. The frame measures 21 1/2 inches wide by 19 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches deep. The piece is unsigned as far as we could tell without taking it apart.More than one view is provided to best show design, construction and condition.
