For sale is a good sterling souvenir spoon for LEAD, South Dakota in the DRESDEN pattern by Whiting, introduced in 1896. The spoon is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 25 grams. The bowl is stippled, gilded, and engraved "LEAD, S.D.". It is marked "PAT.1896" and "925/1000 FINE" with the Whiting trademark "O" and "STERLING". It has not been monogrammed.Condition on the spoon is good. There is wear to the bowl gilding and normal wear from use. A fine souvenir spoon for an unusual place!
