Up for auction is a Victorian lions head oval bangle bracelet dating back to the 1800's. This is terrific-it is made for a small wrist. The inner circumference is 6" total. If your wrist measures 5 1/2" with a soft tape measure-this bangle would fit great. It has 2 red stones (faux ruby) for the eyes & a clear stone for the mouth. The width of this bracelet measures almost 3/4" at the front & tapers down towards the back. The top of the bangle has an overlay of the lions head and his mane across the top. The back is plain with NO dents. The left side has an indentation where the hinges meet (2nd. photo from the end). The right side has a nub to open & close the bracelet. This bracelet is so unusual & beautiful especially to find it in a smaller size. Most of these lions head bangles from the Victorian era are very large. Please ask any questions before bidding. Winning bidder please pay within 3 days of auction end & I will gladly ship within 3 days of funds clearing. Shipping includes insurance.
