Lovely antique silverplated jewellery casket box measure about 9 3/4"tall to the top of the handle, and 5 1/2" at the widest. The handle and the four legs has filigree figural flowers. The legs on little round balls. The lid of the box has engraved flowers and bird. A full figure bird stand on top of lid. The lid open by turning the knob in front of the box. This jewel box is in great condition for its age. Some area has lost some of the silver, it may need re-silver or leave the way it is. The lining inside in good condition look like had been replaced. One of the front leg had been broken and re- solder. It is a clean break, the repair is not bad. Please check photo 6. The hinged on the back has a small gap, check photo 3. This cost the lid not closing completely tight but not so bad, check photo 8. Marked on the bottom Quadruple Rockford Silver P. Co. along with # 1963.
