From a good estate sale Miniature Original Oil Painting Figures in a Landscape Good Quality Gilt Frame & Glazed The frame is about 14 x 11 cms (5.5 x 4.5 inches ) and the painting aperture is about 8 x 5.5 cms (3.25 x 2.25 inches) In excellent condition, with no damage discerned. I haven't opened up the back so I can't tell what material the painting is on. This has a slightly oriental "feel" about it - the figures in the foreground seem to be in robes and the frame is backed in grey silk fabric.
