For auction are two Victorian chains made of vulcanite.Vulcanite was used as a substitute for Whitby jet in producing mourning jewellery following the death of prince Albert.Included are one full chain, including the catch, this is apx. 13 inches long, and an incomplete chain that measures apx. 7.5 inches long.Thanks for looking and !
