Victorian Naive Oil on Academy Board Horse Painting NR For your consideration is an Antique 19th Century Oil on Academy Board Painting of a Rider tending to her Horse with two dogs at her side. It's done in a primitive, naive, style and has a very nice look to it in my opinion. It is signed in the lower left corner what I believe to be "L Nichols" and measures 11 3/4" by 18 1/2" in the gold painted gesso frame, with some gesso missing around the edges. Can be shipped much cheaper if you don't wish to have the frame, as the painting is a bit loose in this frame anyway. Please see my photographs and consider them as part of the description. What you receive in the mail will be exactly as you can see in the photos. Thank you!
