Nice pair of photographic images, portraits on milk glass. Highly detail and nice quality images of a husband and wife I assume presented in super nice and clean oval frames with velvet cases. Marked on the interior Broadbent & Phillips, 1206 Chestnut St, Phila. Possibly prominent Philadelphians? The condition is of the cases and photographic images is just spectacular. T is type of old condensation deposits in between the clear glass frame and the milk glass image. These deposits are on the clear glass and do not appear on the image. I did not want to try and take these apart and clean them. I have looked through a magnify glass and the images are clean and uneffected. I will leave the cleaning to the experts and new owner. Early photos are not my field of expertise, but I know glass and can tell you what I see. Each frame measues 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 Reasonable starting price with no reserve.
