WHAT A UNIQUE TREASURE!! we have a **TRUE ANTIQUE VINTAGE** ring that is sure to DELIGHT some collector out t! THIS RING IS SIMPLY ENCHANTING! For it's age ((OVER A CENTURY to be sure!!)), it isn't all worn, and is solid 12K soft warm yellow leaning on a slightly rose tone gold hue-popular at the time. NO thinning or wear ANYW -Many folks don't realize that in some places 12KT was used just as much as a common mixture as 14K is today-especially popular in Scotland &.Ireland. You don't see it used much after 1940 in a SOLID form, so that's always a way to date- although we can see CLEARLY from design style, this is from the 1890-1910 period. I bought this in Canada about 15 years ago at an antique shoppe, and haven't don't much with it but let it sit unappreciated in an armoire. I don't think it was worn much- LUCKY YOU! The genuine garnet is the **PERFECT** red - the Pyrope varity of garnets that are a deep red with purplish undertones! AND IT"S secure & PRISTINE! No chips nips scratches etc... The ring weighs 1.7 grams of marked 12K gold, it was tested around that time too. I tried to photograph the mark for you. The capitol letters CE with 12K between them. It is all original, a VERY WEARABLE modern size 7. DELICIOUS 3-D swirled scrollwork, the filigree predecessor, but without the cut outs. BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!! Folks always say my items are BETTER than pictured!-although dainty in appearance- it has a certain " PRESENCE " that doesn't come across in photos-that only antique pieces have! Someone will be THRILLED to have this **UNIQUE** treasure in their jewelry wardrobe or collection!!!
