Use the right arrow to see more photos.This auction is for two sailor dolls, three stools, the checkerboard on the barrel and another checker set with pieces in the zip lock bag. Both dolls were made to go together by the same gifted artist. They are one of a kind originals.These sailors are enjoying a rousing game of checkers on the docks of London town. I purchased these to use in a large Victorian diorama I had planned, but never completed. I will be listing many more Victorian character dolls, including Dicken's characters and a range of street people, common and genteel.After searching out the best for over 30 years I must down-size my collection to fit into a much smaller space.
