You are viewing a lovely rare Victorian Staffordshire Figure of the "Empress of France" in startling long flowing dress in deep cobalt blue, sitting side saddle on a Roan horse. Circa 1840.Josephine Beauharnais, the wife of Napolean Bonaparte was crowned Empress of France in 1804.Dimension: 10" (25cms) in heightCondition: In very good condition but the horse has its front left leg missing.A really stunning and rare figure.Please check out my other similar auctions!
