This auction is for an elaborate Victorian style dress set for a 5 1/2" all bisque French or German doll. This design is a LUV2CROCHET4U original and was crocheted by me using fine thread in muted blue and ecru.This delicate set includes the dress and matching bonnet. Silk ribbon in beautiful muted blue and ecru was used for all hand done detailed accents on both pieces.The dress measures about 3 1/2" long and fastens in the back with two long crocheted ties.The dress features fancy crocheted detail down the front, puffed sleeves ending in dainty ruffles and accented with tiny ecru bows, and a lacey full skirt with three layers of delicate ruffles.Six tiny buttons and crocheted chains accent the bodice.Pretty silk ribbon bows accent the waist. The fancy bonnet has crocheted detail on the brim and has been accented with handmade silk ribbon rosettes,loops and embroidered buds.Silk ribbon bows accent the neck edges and back of the bonnet as well. The bonnet fastens at the neck with two long crocheted ties. This highly detailed set is shown on a 5 1/2" reproduction all bisque doll and should also fit antique dolls of similar size nicely as well.
