LOVELY LARGE VICTORIAN SYRUP PITCHER CA. 1870 - 1890 I do not know very much about glass but I will do my best to describe this. This is a victorian syrup pitcher with embossed emblem designs on the body and a silverplate lid that works quite well. It stands at just over 8 inches in height. Gladys had about 15 syrup pitchers, so we are listing a couple of week since we really only need one! LOL It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. Since my Aunt collected her antiques from 1905-1949 I am guessing most of these glass dishes are probably victorian since she liked victorian glass and silverplate (see other items we are selling from her home). Hope this can now grace someone else's lovely collection. My Aunt would like that. My Aunt was a nurse in WW1 stationed in France and then spent years as an artist and antiquinarian traveling the world. She loved antiques and taking care of them. This particular castor set is part of her collection and she took very good care of her antiques. Please view my other items as we are selling her home belongings over the coming year and she has some exquisit pieces. I hope this goes to a nice home that loves antiques as much as she did.
