This card is made to be held up to the light to read it, by beenfit of the missing parts of the letters on the back of the card. 3 1/2 x 5 1/4-inch trade card for Favorite Stoves, WC Davis & Co., Cincinnati, OH, from M. Limbach & Co., Detroit, MI., undated. The stove, however, was patented in 1880. Card printed by Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, NY. Condition: Stains on the back as seen in photo. Small mild stains on front. Crease at upper margin center, lower right corner torn off. Rounded corners, lower left corner creased. Iowa buyers to pay 7% sales tax.
