This hand made clothing is in the original little tin box that I found it in. It's a delightful find! I'm positive these were originally made for one of those German or French all bisque dollies. Before I list the clothing, t are 3 small doll pillows in the lot which I'll describe. One in very poor condition is 3" by 3.25". It was a checked silk that has rotted mostly away & filled with cotton. The top of the pillow has black handmade ctton lace that's also in fair condition & needs some mending. T's a smaller 2.5" by 3" white silk pillow that has foxing and what appears to be a water stain. The third pillow is in very good condition It's a pink & black striped silk taffeta pillow that's 4" square. It's darling with a 3/4" ruffle entirely around it. This is filled with a mix of cotton & straw I think - it sort of crackles when pressed. T's a 4" by 5" square of silk taffeta plaid fabric in good condition. The clothing is superb. T's a white cotton nightgown with pintucks & lace trim. It buttons with 4 tiny carved mother of pearl buttons. The buttonholes are hand stitched as is the finish work, but the hem & long seams are machine stitched. The gown is 4.25" long. T's a short petticoat with cotton hand made lace trim at the hem.
